The association Amis du Vieux Salies (AVS)

The aims of the AVS (Friends of Old Salies) :

​​

• Development and support for the salt museum and bearnaises traditions ;

​

• Publication of a 6 monthly review "Rebiste Salière" ;

​

• Support for the archeological section created by M. Marcel Saule, Honorary President ;

​

• Support the library (housed in Maison Bourg) based on unique documents giving access to historical events in bygone Salies ;

​

• Support for activities linked to reviving local memory via photography, films, conferences, temporary exhibitions and gala evenings in Mude Square.
